College is a big step and can be intimidating, but financial help is available. Here you will find information about applying for federal student aid along with other available scholarships. As scholarships are sent our way to share with students, we will post them here. Keep in mind this is only a small portion of scholarships that are available to students. You will also want to use some of the search sites listed below to look for even more available scholarships. Please see Mrs. Lundin with any questions you have.

FAFSA (Available October 1st):
The first link will take you to the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA. This is what you need to fill out to be eligible for federal grants, work study, and loans. The second link is the Federal Student Aid informational site, with information on available programs you may be eligible for and important things to know when applying for federal student aid.

College & Financial Aid Resources for Native American Students:
The American Indian College Fund website is a great resource for our American Indian students in finding scholarship, college, and career information, and also provides many scholarships through their fund as well.
Minnesota Indian Scholarship Program
The website for the Minnesota Indian Scholarship Program includes the application for eligible students.
American Indian Scholars Program - Minnesota
This is the site with information for the Minnesota American Indian Scholars program. This program provides a first-dollar tuition and fee-free pathway for Minnesotans eligible for resident tuition who are enrolled members or citizens of any federally recognized tribe or Canadian First Nation to attend a Minnesota State institution or the University of Minnesota.
Minnesota North Star Promise:
The Minnesota North Star Promise program will meet cost of tuition at Minnesota schools after all other grants and scholarships have been applied for students from families with an adjusted gross income under $80,000 and meet all requirements. The only application required is the FAFSA. See information at: Minnesota North Star Promise Program
